Plan Your Visit

We'd Love to Welcome You

Whether you've been in church your whole life or you're simply exploring the Christian faith, we're glad you're considering visiting Rosedale Baptist Church. Our desire is simple: to gather each week to worship Jesus Christ, hear God's Word preached, and encourage one another to follow Him.

We hope the information below helps you know what to expect on your first visit.

Sunday Mornings

Worship Gathering
10:30 AM

Our worship gathering is the central gathering of our church each week. Together we pray, sing, read Scripture, and hear God's Word preached. Everything we do is intended to help us know Christ more deeply and respond to Him in faith and obedience.

What Does a Typical Service Look Like?

We Read God's Word

The Bible is central to everything we do. Throughout our service we read Scripture because we believe God speaks to His people through His Word.

We Pray God’s Word

Our prayers include praise, confession, thanksgiving, and requests for God's help. We believe prayer is one of the primary ways God shapes His people.

We Sing God’s Word

We sing congregationally because worship is something the whole church does together. Our music includes both historic hymns and modern songs that are rich in biblical truth and centered on the gospel.

We Hear God's Word

Each week we preach through books of the Bible. Our goal is to understand what God has said, see how every passage points us to Christ, and apply God's truth to everyday life.

We See God’s Word

We celebrate baptism as believers publicly profess their faith in Christ. We also observe the Lord's Supper regularly as a church family, remembering Christ's death and proclaiming our hope in His return.

We'd Love to Meet You

Visiting a new church can feel intimidating, but we'd love the opportunity to welcome you.

If you have any questions before your visit, don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to meeting you and worshiping with you this Sunday.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Wear?

You'll find everything from jeans and boots to dresses and jackets. There isn't a dress code. Come dressed comfortably—we're far more interested in meeting you than in what you're wearing.

What About My Children?

Families are an important part of our church.

Children are always welcome in our worship service. We love seeing families worship together, and we encourage parents to help their children participate as they are able.

We also offer a cry and coloring room in our lobby.

What is Parking & Arrival like?

Parking is available on our church property. If you need assistance or have accessibility needs, please let us know—we'd be glad to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Do I need to be a Christian to attend?

Not at all. Everyone is welcome to attend our worship gatherings. Whether you're seeking answers about Christianity or looking for a church home, we'd love to have you join us.

Will I be asked to give money?

No. Giving is one way our church members worship God, but we do not expect guests to contribute financially.

How long is the service?

Our worship service typically lasts about 60 minutes.

What is the preaching like?

Our preaching is expositional, meaning we work through books of the Bible and seek to explain and apply the meaning of each passage faithfully.

Can I participate in the Lord's Supper?

We regularly invite baptized believers who are trusting in Christ and walking in fellowship with their local church to participate. Our pastor explains the meaning of the Lord's Supper and who should partake before the elements are served.
