Who We Are

Rosedale Baptist Church is a historic gospel-preaching church in the heart of South Nashville. We believe Jesus Christ loves His Church and is sending His Church to extend his saving love to the city of Nashville.

How We Started

Rosedale Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation founded in 1941, located south of Downtown Nashville near the fairgrounds and Geodis Park.

Why We Exist

We exist to make Jesus known in South Nashville. What the world needs most is the grace of Jesus Christ. Our purpose as a Church is to make the grace of Christ known in our neighborhood.

Leadership

Adam Wheaton
- Pastor

Adam began serving as Senior Pastor in June of 2025. He is the proud husband of Kenzie Wheaton. Before joining us, he served at Addison Street Community Church in Chicago. He believes in expositional preaching, gospel-centered ministry, and life devoted to Jesus Christ.

Randy Moore
- Deacon

Randy began attending Rosedale at the age of four and joined the church in 1963 after his baptism. He is the proud husband of Cheryl As a deacon, he leads the church through his service, primarily overseeing our facilities.

Fonda Kopski
- Treasurer

Fonda began attending Rosedale at the age of five. She joined the church in 1965 after her baptism. As treasurer, Fonda helps to form the church's budget and works diligently to maintain our finances.

Joe Kopski
- Music Leader

Joe is the proud husband of Fonda. As our music leader, Joe serves by curating the music for our Sunday morning worship services and leading the congregation as we sing together.
